What consumes our time and energy right now?
As we move toward MVP we are focused on a couple of key things right now. First, we are trying to make sure the Product functions properly. We have a product that is well positioned for our market-first approach in a new market category. The product just needs a couple of tweaks and one or two key functions. We already have a "Phase 2" of the product that we are not planning on initiating until after we are well into MVP.
Secondly we are in the throws of Market Research. We are testing the broader market with inexpensive ads to see who our customers are (and who they are not).
Finally, we are also in the middle of setting up at least one key partnership. We feel a partnership would help us with credibility, marketing in a key segment, and build the user base. This last part is key - the value of the product is partially attributable to the data users contribute to the product. So we need users' data to attract users. This classic Chicken-and-Egg scenario is not unique to our product, but needs to be addressed.
When will we declare MVP?
Not sure, but since this is one of the last things we can outright control, we will probably wait until the product is stable, the market is better understood, and we have seen some revenue.
